Mechanic Legends Junkyard

Mechanic Legends junkyard guide: how to inspect and buy a project car, what the price, condition and market value mean, and how to pick one that turns a profit.

The Mechanic Legends junkyard is where the tutorial starts and where most players find a first project: used cars that you inspect, buy and take to your garage to repair and resell. This Roblox guide covers the inspect panel, the refresh timer and how to judge a deal, using seven videos published October 19 to 30, 2026. Their numbers come from auto-captions, so read them as examples.

How the Mechanic Legends junkyard works

The tutorial sends you here first: walk up to a trashed car, hold E to inspect it, buy it and follow the green GPS line to your garage (CarterPlays, 0:25; five other channels show the same opening). Afterwards the junkyard stays open with used cars whose stock changes over time. Customer jobs supply their own cars instead. The Mechanic Legends car repair guide covers the repair loop.

Reading the inspect panel

Hold E on a car to open its panel. Together the videos show these fields.

No caption says the repair estimate includes paint, so add paint yourself. Cars in the lot also show a percentage nobody explains: BrufMasterTTV guessed a spawn chance, and CHALLS favored lower ones.

How often the Mechanic Legends junkyard refreshes

The stock changes on a refresh, and Radex Tips says each one brings new deals to look for. ItzVexo's video shows a countdown he reads as 12 minutes, but he hedges with "if I'm not mistaken", and the auto-caption of his remark about the interval reads "every like minute", so even this source is unsure. No other video gives a figure or says whether servers share a timer. Treat 12 minutes as a rough guide and trust the in-game countdown.

Picking a junkyard car that pays

Radex Tips gives the rule: a good deal is not the cheapest car but the one that still leaves a profit after repairs. Three checks from the videos:

  • Value against price. NoobBlox picked an older car worth about 9.2K that needed only two parts, calling it a bargain after comparing value with price.
  • Repair bill. ItzVexo skipped a pricey car with about 3,300 in estimated repairs and bought one needing about 1,000.
  • Hidden costs. Scrapped parts cannot be repaired and must be ordered new (NoobBlox), engine damage can leave a car in limp mode (ItzVexo), and stripping paint costs money (CHALLS, ItzVexo, Radex Tips).

Here is the tutorial car worked through, with figures from three videos.

CHALLS called the 6,700 gap his profit, which fits a 4,000 purchase, so it appears to leave out the paint bill. BrufMasterTTV and Avinestas saw offers near 10 grand and 11K. A big sale price alone proves little: ItzVexo sold a car for about 16,000 and said he barely made a profit. The tutorial is a guided first car, so later cars may not match that margin. Junkyard vs auction garage

At the junkyard you choose a specific car after reading its panel; an auction garage hands you a random one. Two videos put a cash garage at about 65,000, roughly 16 times the 4,000 tutorial car, and no video shows an auction car's condition. The Mechanic Legends auction garage page covers cost and odds.

New players should start with the Mechanic Legends beginner guide. The Mechanic Legends cars page lists the few cars we can name, and no Mechanic Legends codes give extra cash yet.

Mechanic Legends Junkyard FAQ

How often does the Mechanic Legends junkyard refresh?

One video shows a 12 minute countdown, but its narrator, ItzVexo, was unsure of the interval and no other video gives a figure. Watch the in-game timer.

How do you inspect a junkyard car?

Walk up and hold E. The panel lists asking price, market value, condition, damaged parts and estimated repairs; videos also show mileage and a sell-back price.

Where can you find cheap cars in Mechanic Legends?

The junkyard: the tutorial car cost about 4,000, against about 65,000 for an auction garage. Mechanic Legends cheap cars are only a good deal if market value beats the asking price plus repairs and paint.

How do you buy cars in Mechanic Legends?

The videos show three routes: a used car at the junkyard, a random-car garage at the auction house, or a brand-new car at the dealership. Customer jobs do not count, because the customer's car goes back to them.
