Mechanic Legends car repair is one loop: inspect the car, pull the damaged parts, clean, polish or replace them, then refit everything in order and check that it runs. This guide covers it in the Roblox game from Wrench Work, using seven player videos from late October 2026. No usable source states part prices, so none appear.
How Mechanic Legends car repair works
Hold E on a junkyard car to inspect it. The panel lists condition, damaged parts, estimated repairs, market value and asking price; the Mechanic Legends junkyard guide covers choosing a car. Take it to your garage (the tutorial marks the way with a green GPS line), drive onto the lift, raise it, open the hood and equip the wrench to see which parts need work.
- Hold to remove. Taking off a part needs a two to three second hold. Keep the wrench equipped to drag parts; BrufMasterTTV found you need not hold while dragging.
- Removal order. Some parts block others: NoobBlox's engine block needed the exhaust manifold and three other parts out first. Bumpers and doors can also come off. Refit in order too; BrufMasterTTV had to install the intake first.
- Scrapped or repairable. A scrapped part cannot be repaired and must be ordered new. Rusty or worn parts can be cleaned or polished.
- Customer jobs. Customer cars use your lift and the same loop. The tutorial run is in the Mechanic Legends beginner guide.
Ordering parts from Parts Direct
Order Mechanic Legends parts at the part-order table in your own garage. They arrive later in a delivery box. BrufMasterTTV found that delivery is free but the part still costs cash.
The Parts Direct shop, named by ItzVexo and Radex Tips, sells replacement parts, a range of engines including stronger ones, modifications and tuning parts. A teleporter gets you there faster. No source says which engine fits which car; the Mechanic Legends cars page holds what we can confirm. What the new Performance Shop sells is unpublished; see the Mechanic Legends Performance update.
No code gives free parts, because none exist yet. Check the Mechanic Legends codes page for changes.
Cleaning and polishing parts
Two machines in Mechanic Legends car repair restore parts instead of replacing them. Rusty parts go into the ultrasonic cleaner, and worn parts go into the part polisher until they reach 100%. In the tutorial the radiator takes both steps. Electrical wires can be washed and polished too, which Avinestas found odd. Some parts cannot be restored this way, and a scrapped part never can, so check every part before you order.
Why your car won't start
If your Mechanic Legends car won't start, work through these sourced causes:
- Battery. A low battery comes out, is charged at the battery charger in your garage and goes back in.
- Wiring harness. The tutorial starter car shows a message that the harness is missing and nothing is getting power. Order one and fit it from the delivery box. Four videos show this.
- Fuel. Cars use fuel, and the gas station refills it.
- Engine light. A damaged engine turns the light on, and a broken one drives in limp engine mode. In ItzVexo's video the light went off after the fix.
- Coolant. No video we read describes a coolant step. Avinestas noticed a water level gauge but did not say how to fill it, so we cannot say coolant stops a start.
Tires, paint and finishing touches
Tires. Lift the car, remove a wheel, put it on the tire splitter and separate the tire from the rim. Buy another rim if you want one, mount it and refit the wheel. The tutorial does not teach this.
Paint. Follow the GPS to the paint shop. Stripping old paint costs money, takes several seconds and removes rust; then drive into a booth, pick any colour and apply it. Count that cost before you resell, as how to make money in Mechanic Legends explains.
Finish. To finish Mechanic Legends car repair, check the engine light is off, refuel, then sell. The 195 Robux Portable Jackstand lets you work anywhere, but your garage already has a lift; see the Mechanic Legends game passes.
Mechanic Legends Car Repair FAQ
How do I fix a car that won't start?
Read the on-screen message first. In the tutorial it names a missing wiring harness, which you order and fit. Otherwise charge a low battery, check the fuel and look at the engine light. A scrapped part must be ordered new.
Where do I buy parts?
Order at the part-order table in your garage, or visit the Parts Direct shop, which a teleporter reaches faster. Delivery is free; the part is not.
Can you polish a part instead of buying it?
Yes for rusty or worn parts: the ultrasonic cleaner and part polisher bring them up to 100%. No for scrapped parts, which cannot be repaired.
How do you charge the battery in Mechanic Legends?
Remove the battery with the wrench, put it on the battery charger in your garage, then reinstall it. Seven videos show this; none gives a charge time.
